Continuous Improvement Engineer (Quality)
Manufacturing
A specialist coatings manufacturer is looking to appoint an Continuous Improvement Engineer to tackle a critical business challenge around post-manufacturing processes, product release, and quality escapes.
This is a hands-on, practitioner-level CI role, focused on fixing real operational issues, tightening processes, and embedding best practice across the business.
The Role

* Fixing issues around incorrect shipments, documentation errors, and quality escapes
* Improving steps taken after manufacture, including release processes and documentation flow
* Implementing robust processes to prevent recurrence of issues
* Acting as a hands-on CI practitioner, applying lean and problem-solving tools
* Supporting the wider Operational Excellence (OpEx) agenda to improve overall business performance
What We’re Looking For
* Strong Continuous Improvement background, ideally within a quality or problem-solving environment
* Experience in a similar CI / OpEx role within manufacturing
* Understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes (manufacturing engineering background beneficial)
* Experience working in a highly regulated industry
* Background within a manufacturing business
* Lean / CI training or certification (Green or Black Belt ideal, but not essential)
