The Role
We are seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to join our UK Finance team based in Stoke-on-Trent. This role will support the UK Finance function and local management team by providing timely, accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, supporting informed business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage rolling monthly forecasts and the annual budget process.
Establish departmental budgets and ensure accurate cost control and accountability.
Deliver clear and insightful management reporting across operational performance, revenue, inventory, project accounting, and intercompany activity.
Provide financial analysis to support strategic and commercial decision-making.
Develop and track KPIs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Support the month-end close process and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
Work closely with global finance colleagues to align forecasting and reporting methodologies.
Support statutory audits and respond to ad-hoc requests from senior leadership.
About You
Proven experience in FP&A roles, ideally within a fast-paced or manufacturing environment.
Qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA preferred).
Advanced Excel skills with strong experience using financial systems and reporting tools.
Comfortable working with large datasets and producing meaningful financial insights.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage non-financial stakeholders. xxuwjjq
Experience with Navision and/or Hyperion and knowledge of US GAAP would be advantageous.
