Location: Bristol or Cardiff (Hybrid/Flexible) Salary: Competitive (£48,000 - High £50s depending on experience)
The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor or CILEX looking to step into a leadership role with a firm that prioritises your professional growth?
My client is seeking a qualified Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our team in either our Bristol or Cardiff office. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with at least 2 years of PQE to manage a high-quality caseload and develop their leadership skills by overseeing a small, dedicated team of junior fee-earners.
The Role
In this position, you will balance individual casework with the mentorship of 2-3 junior qualified team members. My client is committed to your career development; if you have limited management experience but the desire to lead, you will be provided full support and training to help you succeed.
What you will be handling:
* High-Value Caseload: Manage a varied caseload of 30-40 files, with values typically ranging between £500,000 and £750,000.
* Complex Litigation: Benefit from exposure to high-complexity birth injury cases with values exceeding £1 million.
* Business Development: There is absolutely no requirement for business development in this role. However, if you are keen to build your personal profile or grow the practice, there is ample opportunity to get involved alongside our Partners.
What We Are Looking For
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years PQE in Clinical Negligence.
* Leadership Potential: Previous managerial experience is desirable but not essential, my client is looking for the right attitude and a willingness to develop your team-leading skills.
* Ambition: A desire to work on complex, high-value litigation.
