A client within the Public Sector based in Warwickshire is currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor Stock Condition to join their Neighbourhood and Assets Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority housing or property maintenance environment. The Role Key purpose of the role is to undertake a full range of Project Management and Building Surveying duties to maintain and improve the Council’s property portfolio and housing stock, ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities and legislation. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: • Planning, specifying, procuring, managing, and delivering a variety of planned works and cyclical maintenance contracts. • Undertaking stock condition surveys (including HHSRS and EPC), defect inspections, and feasibility studies. • Preparing technical drawings, tender specifications, RIBA work plans, and project reports. • Acting as a point of contact for clients and contractors, providing technical advice and ensuring clear communication throughout projects. • Managing project budgets, valuations, and final accounts, ensuring compliance with contractual procedures. • Monitoring contractor performance and maintaining accurate records to ensure quality and value for money. • Ensuring all works co...
