Working with strategic stakeholders—including Marketing and the Transformation Programme—you’ll develop and integrate new and existing systems that support our ambitious vision. Your expertise will be critical in delivering key technology initiatives such as API management, authentication, event‑driven messaging, and integrations with platforms like Salesforce, Google Ads, Azure, and Actisure. If you’re passionate about driving innovation and scaling impactful solutions in a fast‑paced environment, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact at AXA Global Healthcare.
Key responsibilities
* Co‑own and lead technical discussions and implementations for integrations, including API, EDM, Data Platform, Authentication (Auth0), and marketing systems such as Google Ads, Salesforce, and Actisure.
* Review and translate High‑Level Design (HLD) documentation into detailed Low‑Level Design (LLD) for implementation.
* Create, review, and ensure quality of Engineering LLD documentation to support development activities.
* Oversee and review Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines, providing support for code peer reviews within the engineering team.
* Lead the migration and integration of ADO with SaaS applications, including Auth0.
* Support Agile methodologies across engineering and external teams, ensuring user stories are well‑defined, estimated, and meet the ‘definition of done’.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business goals and architecture standards.
* Drive best practices in engineering, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure implementation of systems.
Work arrangements
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
Your skills & experience
* Experience with API integration using platforms like APIM or MuleSoft, including creating documentation and testing APIs.
* Knowledge of building web apps in Azure .NET or similar environments (e.g., Optimizely), and knowledge of tools like Azure DevOps and App Gateway.
* Experience working with authentication providers such as Auth0/Okta and integrating them with internal systems.
* Ability to work well with different teams, including business, architecture, and engineering.
* Skilled in turning business needs into clear technical requirements and project plans with marketing and IT teams.
* Responsible for keeping websites and digital assets stable, fast, and reliable.
* Knowledge of Lambdas or similar solutions for event‑driven messaging.
* Hands‑on coding experience, reviewing code, and working with pipelines that include tools like CheckMarx and SonarQube.
