Role – Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Location – Mildenhall, Suffolk Working hours – Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week Capacity of role – Permanent position Salary – Up to £50,000 per annum Our client is a leading manufacturer in their field and currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support their production facility. This role is a pivotal role within a fast paced and progressive team. We are seeking someone who is time served and looking to utilise their skills to further their personal development and career. Main duties will include - •Supporting the maintenance of production machinery and ancillary equipment •Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs •Stripping down machinery to replace worn or broken components •Completing and updating maintenance tasks using a CMMS / maintenance software •Supporting visiting service engineers •Maintaining facilities across all sites •Acting as the main point of contact for external contractors •Identifying improvement opportunities and potential cost-saving initiatives •Assisting other areas of the business with maintenance support as required Candidate Attributes - •5–10 years’ experience in a mechanical maintenance role within a production or manufacturing environment •Experience working with production machin...
