Pertemps is working with a key client based in the Renfrewshire area who is looking to recruit an experienced Administrator to join their growing team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to join a friendly and supportive team. The role will keep you engaged with a variety of daily tasks, and training will be provided to help you succeed.
This is a full-time, permanent role with a salary of £24,968 per annum. The client works fully in their offices from Monday to Friday during standard business hours. Parking is available on-site, and the location is easily accessible by public transport. You will be speaking to key clients, contractors, and various employees daily, so strong communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Understand the varied processes for service clients' accounting.
2. Develop knowledge of clients and contracts.
3. Maintain regular, effective communication with engineers to ensure work is completed within client SLAs.
4. Ensure subcontractor orders are requisitioned and raised.
5. Identify and manage outstanding purchase orders and unissued parts.
6. Assist with the management of the engineering pool and holiday leave.
7. Complete progress/status update reports for clients or client systems.
8. Manage control administration for engineers, including day sheets, timesheets, expenses, and non-productive elements.
9. Ensure all Extra to Contract Works are managed in line with contractual requirements.
10. Record legislative documentation to meet client and company standards.
11. Use internal systems to upload documents and certifications.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience in an administrative role requiring high accuracy and attention to detail.
2. Experience liaising with contractors, tradespeople, or engineers is advantageous.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
4. Experience in a varied role.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. A motivated team player with a positive attitude.
