Job description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing the financial and commercial elements of water projects
2. Conducting cost analysis, forecasting, and budget management
3. Preparing detailed reports and documentation
4. Supporting procurement processes and contract administration
5. Assessing and managing risks related to project costs
6. Collaborating with engineering and project teams to ensure financial efficiency
7. Monitoring project progress and ensuring compliance with commercial standards
8. Handling variations and claims in accordance with contractual terms
Job Requirements:
9. Experience in the water sector, specifically with MEICA systems
10. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of quantity surveying principles
11. Proficiency in cost management and financial analysis
12. Excellent organisational and documentation skills
13. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with project teams
14. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and contracts
15. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
16. Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
