You will work from a variety of settings including schools, partner agencies and homes working flexibly and creatively to best engage and meet the diverse health needs of the 5-19 population across the New Forest and Romsey area, supporting the wider Hampshire Public Health Nursing 5-19 service. You will lead the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme (DH 2009) within the locality and provide professional leadership to a skill mix team to enable the efficient and effective delivery of the commissioned service, improving outcomes for Children and Young People in Hampshire. ## Main duties, tasks & skills requiredThe primary role of the Community Public Health Nurse 5-19 (SCPHN) is to lead delivery of the commissioned elements of the Healthy Child Programme (DH 2009) including the 0-19 (Health Visiting and School Nursing) High Impact Areas. The role includes providing clinical leadership and management support to Community Public Health Staff Nurse 5-19, Community Public Health Advisors and Community Public Health Assistants 5-19 to support the delivery of a quality 0-19 public health service in Hampshire.
