About the Role: As a Plant Technician at our Croydon site, you will help maintain unique industrial plastic foam manufacturing equipment, including steam boilers, thermal oil heaters, high-pressure compressors, extrusion lines, and associated systems. Your work keeps our plant safe, reliable, and continuously improving. Role Responsibilities: Inspect plant and equipment routinely, identify and correct deficiencies, and escalate issues where needed. Record accurate, detailed reports for all work in our computerised system. Deliver planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance to ensure safety and reliability. Lead and support process improvements, developing new ideas and solutions. Report and control Health and Safety risks and promote safe practices across the site. What you'll need: Mechanical or Electrical qualification (Level 3 or above). At least 5 years’ industrial or practical experience. Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation. Understanding of SCADA or automated systems. Experience with electrical fault finding, problem analysis, and continuous improvement. Maintenance experience, ideally using a CMMS.
