Description
As a Senior Knowledge Lawyer, you will play a key role in driving the firm's knowledge management strategy in line with wider business objectives. Acting as a trusted adviser to legal teams, you will support the delivery of a global knowledge offering while overseeing the creation, maintenance, and evolution of legal know‑how across the firm.
The role is both strategic and hands‑on, involving close partnership with senior stakeholders, practice groups, business development, IT, and risk and compliance teams. You will also lead on legal training initiatives and contribute to the development of junior members of the knowledge team.
Profile
* Act as a senior member of the knowledge team, helping shape and deliver the firm's knowledge strategy
* Support the Chief Knowledge Officer in delivering a consistent, global knowledge offering
* Draft, review, and maintain precedents, templates, model documents, and other legal know‑how
* Oversee the delivery of legal training, webinars, and podcasts for lawyers and clients
* Liaise directly with clients to deliver legal learning and content solutions
* Coordinate practice‑specific knowledge projects aligned to identified business needs
Additional Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted adviser to legal teams, translating requirements into practical solutions
* Lead content strategy in collaboration with business development teams
* Monitor legal, regulatory, market, and industry developments and produce insights and briefings
* Lead practice technology initiatives, driving adoption and change
* Collaborate with IT on knowledge, technology, and innovation projects
* Work closely with risk and compliance to support best‑practice risk management
* Manage and develop junior team members, providing supervision and mentoring
