Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of ‘Extended Life Solutions’ for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an opportunity for an MRO Electronic Technician to join our team based at our Staverton site to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans. We are one of the world's fastest growing aerospace companies in the world so there's no better time to start your journey with Ontic What you will be doing: You'll play an integral part in the functioning & success of our MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) teams, responsible and accountable for the fault diagnosis and return to service of various electronic products, ensuring that the finished product conforms to exacting quality and aerospace standards. You will p rovide inspection and diagnostic fault finding of various electronic products and final unit instruments. You'll also be responsible for the assembly, test and inspection various electronic products and final unit instruments, using complex diagnostic tests and methodologies and high level technical build. You'll ensure that all assembly, test and repair functions are completed to the necessary quality standards – they meet contractual customer expectations and conformance to enable progression to final inspection and release. What knowledge/skills will you bring? You'll have strong electronics experience and be confident working at component level. Ideally, you will have exposure to an MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) environment. You'll need to be able to understand technical drawings and instructions.
