Senior Clojure Developer – Remote - £100,000

We’re looking for a talented Senior Clojure Developer to join us and help scale and optimise our cloud-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and maintain high-performance back-end systems using Clojure.
* Architect and deploy applications on AWS (ECS Fargate & CDK).
* Build and manage containerised applications with Docker.
* Develop scalable APIs and microservices to meet business needs.
* Optimise performance and ensure system scalability and reliability.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless solutions.
* Write clean, maintainable code and enforce best practices.
What You Bring to the Role
* Strong back-end development skills, particularly in Clojure, AWS (ECS Fargate & CDK), and Docker.
* Experience in microservices architectures, database management using PostgreSQL and cloud infrastructure.
* Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and testable code with a problem-solving mindset.
* Ability to collaborate in an Agile environment and contribute to high-quality software solutions.
Desirable Skills
* Experience with serverless architectures, containers and CI/CD pipelines.
* Strong focus on security best practices in cloud-based systems.
* Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to team development
