About The Role
We're seeking a
Senior Operations Officer
to support the Business Centres Operations Manager in overseeing operational, administrative, commercial, and finance-related activities. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, compliance with financial policies, and exceptional customer service for tenants. While based at Eliot Park Innovation Centre, you'll work across multiple sites to meet business needs.
Key Requirements
* Financial Management & Compliance: Ensure adherence to Council financial policies, monitor overdue accounts, and maintain compliance with contracts.
* Transaction Processing: Accurately process rent, service charges, and ad hoc payments; verify invoices; reconcile petty cash.
* Invoicing & Reporting: Issue monthly invoices and quarterly service charges; produce financial performance and cost reports.
* System Expertise: Maintain expert knowledge of Agresso finance software and support team training.
* Contract & Supplier Management: Maintain supplier contract register and work towards standardisation.
* Forecasting & Analysis: Assist with monthly financial forecasting and revenue analysis.
* Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service and identify opportunities to enhance value and revenue.
* Health & Safety: Stay informed on requirements and address risks proactively.
What we're looking for:
* Strong financial administration and compliance experience.
* Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
* Ability to build positive relationships and deliver outstanding customer service.
* Knowledge of finance systems (Agresso desirable) and Health & Safety requirements.
