Registered Veterinary Nurse
Location: Tenbury Road, Kidderminster, DY14 8RB
Salary: Up to £32k plus benefits
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable RVN to work 39 hours across 5 days a week, with a mixture of early and late shifts, and 1 in 4 Saturdays. Flexibility on hours is available. The role primarily involves working at our Cleobury Mortimer branch, with additional duties at our Bewdley branch.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Advocating for and conducting successful nurse consults/clinics
2. Assisting the veterinary team with patient examinations, minor procedures, and anaesthetics
3. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and preparing the practice for the upcoming week
4. Chairing and facilitating monthly branch meetings
5. Enhancing client experience and satisfaction

About Us
We are a large practice group with 10 practices across Shropshire and Worcestershire, including a 24-hour hospital in Bridgnorth. Our branches in Cleobury Mortimer and Bewdley are community-focused, with loyal clients and friendly teams. We collaborate with several dog and cat charities, which form part of our work. Our facilities include theatres, multi-parameter monitoring, patient warming, x-ray, ultrasound, dentistry with dental x-ray at Bewdley, and laparoscopic and orthopaedic procedures at our hospital and other branches.
The current holder of this position is moving internally to our hospital site for career development, which is encouraged.
About You
We seek a reliable, organized, proactive, and ambitious team leader with excellent communication skills, high standards of patient and client care, and great attention to detail. You will be supported by a Clinical Director/Practice Manager working across four sites and will be part of the nursing leadership team at Severn Edge and CVS.
