Wholetime Firefighter Transfer Opportunities – West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service

We are looking for current wholetime, substantive and competent Firefighters who are interested in transferring to West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service to join a pool to fill both immediate and future vacancies.
Our immediate vacancies are in Service Delivery (at fire stations), however if you are interested in roles in other departments, we would still encourage you to apply and join our pool. Please note roles in other departments will be subject to a supplementary short selection process to ensure the right fit for the role.

* Be a wholetime substantive and competent Firefighter who has demonstrated competence against the requirements of the NJC Firefighter role map.
* Hold a full and valid UK driving licence (unless you have a valid reason which prohibits you from driving).
* Have an in-date fitness assessment (equal to or above VO2 max of 42.3).
* Be in date for all your qualifications/maintenance of competence for your current role.
* Have no concerns from management relating to your conduct or performance.
