Manufacturing Engineer

Salary Up to £42,000 (depending on experience)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company, supporting advanced production processes within a modern, state-of-the-art facility.
This role is critical to ensuring efficient, high-quality manufacturing of complex components, while driving process improvements, automation, and operational excellence across engineering and operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement efficient manufacturing methods and provide cell support
* Design and specify tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering operations
* Assess and scope new work across post-machining and finishing processes
* Define and maintain process flows for new and existing products
* Support new product introduction (NPI) and change management activities
* Create and maintain BOMs, technical instructions, and process documentation
* Identify and introduce technical innovations and improvements
* Provide technical support to Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
* Support customer requirements and respond to technical queries
Requirements
* HNC/HND (Level 3+) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
* Experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer in an engineering or production environment
* Experience in at least one of the following: anodising, bonding, surface treatments, painting, assembly, or automated spraying
* Experience within aerospace or a similarly regulated industry
