The school supports pupils with PMLD, SLD, severe Autism, physical disabilities, and speech & communication difficulties, offering a nurturing and structured learning environment led by an experienced and forward-thinking leadership team.
The Role - Complex Needs Teaching Assistant
As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping deliver a highly personalised, sensory-based curriculum tailored to individual needs.
You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to create a safe, inclusive environment where pupils can make progress at their own pace. This is a hands-on role, requiring support with personal care, mobility, and communication development.
You will also contribute to monitoring pupil progress, recording behaviours, and supporting the implementation of strategies designed to improve emotional regulation and engagement.
