What you will be doing
In this role, you will support the Principal Enforcement and Monitoring Officer in providing timely and appropriate advice on all matters related to Developer Contributions. The main role relates to the administration and collection of CIL but you will also assist in the monitoring, collection, distribution and enforcement of Section 106 planning obligations as and when required.
You will contribute to the development of a flexible and resilient team, working collaboratively to meet service objectives and improve outcomes for the Council and the wider community. Maintaining strong relationships with Councillors, local bodies and community groups, including Parish and Town Councils, will be a key part of your role, ensuring effective communication and a customer‑focused approach to planning matters.
About You
You will need to be methodical, have an attention to detail and be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
Previous experience of CIL and S106 is essential. Applications without experience cannot be considered.
