We are currently seeking a Part-Qualified Finance Assistant to join a well-established financial services organisation on an interim basis for approximately 3-6 months. This role is ideal for someone who is part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) and able to quickly integrate into an established finance team, supporting core month-end and transactional finance activities. Hybrid working is available.
The successful candidate will be confident working in a regulated financial environment and capable of managing day-to-day finance tasks with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
1. Processing and posting supplier invoices accurately within Sage 50
2. Assisting with accruals and prepayments as part of the month-end close process
3. Supporting the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations
4. Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring data integrity within the finance system
5. Assisting the wider finance team with ad-hoc accounting tasks and reporting requirements
Requirements
6. Part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or actively studying
7. Experience working in a finance assistant or similar accounting role
8. Strong working knowledge of Sage 50
9. Understanding of month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments
10. Ability to quickly adapt and contribute within a busy finance team
11. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
