Are you an experienced Property Lawyer looking for a role where your expertise makes a real impact on local communities? Join our Legal Services team, supporting both Guildford and Waverley Borough Councils, and work on a diverse range of property-related legal matters.
What You’ll Do
* Advise on all aspects of property law, including commercial leases, conveyancing, housing, Right to Buy, and shared ownership.
* Manage a varied caseload of both contentious and non-contentious matters.
* Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements and documents.
* Attend committees and working groups, providing expert legal guidance.
* Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team development.
About You
* Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive (or equivalent experience).
* Strong background in property law, ideally within local government or public sector.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
* Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritise effectively.
