Aspire People are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join schools in Tewkesbury and the surrounding area. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in both Primary and Secondary settings while supporting teachers and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring lessons run smoothly
Support students in maintaining engagement, behaviour, and learning outcomes
Follow lesson plans and ensure curriculum objectives are delivered
Assist with preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and productive classroom environment
Communicate effectively with teachers, school staff, and pupils
Requirements:
Experience working with children in school or educational settings preferred
Confident, organised, and able to manage a class independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible and adaptable to different school environments
Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting learning
