Monday & Wednesday: 08:45 – 16:30
Tuesday & Thursday: 08:45 – 15:30

Learner Needs You’ll Support
Students in this provision have a wide range of needs, which may include:
Profound & multiple learning disabilities (PMLD)
Moderate learning difficulties
Physical or sensory impairments
Mental health or emotional needs
Communication or behavioural difficulties
Social communication needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorders
Specific medical needs
Every student is completely individual, and the team tailors support around each person’s goals, abilities and interests.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting students aged 16–25 in the classroom and around the college
Assisting with communication, emotional regulation and daily routines
Encouraging independence and engagement in learning
Working closely with teachers, therapists and wider support staff
Helping maintain a positive, safe and structured environment
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need years of experience — just the right attitude.
We want someone who is:
Patient, calm and resilient
Able to build supportive relationships with young adults
Comfortable working with complex needs or challenging behaviour
Keen to help students grow in confidence and independence
Experience in SEN, care, youth work or similar roles is helpful but not essential.
Compliance Requirements
Enhanced Child & Adult Workforce DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)
Full right to work in the UK
Ability to provide working references for the last 2 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
