Customer Service Representative

On-going temporary contract

Hours: Monday to Friday 08.30 - 16.45 & 09.00 - 17.15

GBP14.32 per hour

Work arrangement: Full-time on-site for the first 3 months, then hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days WFH).

Our client, a leading global company, is seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Representative to join their team at the Dunstable site. This role offers an engaging environment within a renowned organization committed to excellence.

* Key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing orders, handling inquiries, and resolving complaints efficiently.


Responsibilities:

* Process sales and invoices to ensure timely dispatch, invoicing, and payment of customer orders.
* Respond promptly and accurately to internal and customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, delivery times, and order status.
* Coordinate with internal staff to confirm order status and resolve customer complaints.
* Maintain up-to-date customer records, track orders and deliveries, and generate reports and statistics by entering data into databases.
* Draft sales documentation, proposals, reports, and correspondence as needed.
* Serve as the first point of contact for customers, utilizing all available communication channels.
* Provide volume forecasts and performance analysis to Account Managers, customers, and management.
* Participate in sales and customer meetings as required.


Skills & Experience:

* Proven experience in a customer service role, with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and internal teams.
* Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Proficiency in using databases and computerized systems for record-keeping and reporting.
* Ability to collaborate across departments to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.
