CNC Programmer responsibilities include -
* Program CNC machines and robots for efficient and accurate operations.
* Monitor production to meet daily targets and maintain high-quality output.
* Optimise cutting paths and machine settings to improve performance.
* Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot issues with machines or robots.
* Implement Lean practices, including 5S and TPM, to support continuous improvement.
* Train new employees and interpret technical drawings for accurate setup and execution.
CNC Programmer desirable skills and experience -
* Experience working within a similar role - Milling machines.
* Experience CNC programming (offline).
* Confident with modern-day manufacturing technology.
* Time served, or a manufacturing/mechanical engineering education.
