Summary
As a Staff Pharmacist, you support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing the Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, and you are accountable for the management, oversight and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy. Your work includes patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory and financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management. You will also lead patient care programs, motivate your team, identify business opportunities, and drive growth.
Responsibilities
* Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing pharmacist support staff.
* Manage, oversee, and operate all aspects within the pharmacy.
* Maintain patient safety and quality assurance programs.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Deliver excellent customer service.
* Manage pharmacy personnel, inventory, and financial profitability.
* Prevent loss and manage workflow.
* Implement and manage patient care programs.
* Motivate, inspire, and develop support staff.
* Identify business opportunities and develop solutions to improve performance.
* Adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
* Promote a team culture that values caring, energy, enthusiasm and pride.
* Apply knowledge to help drive healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors.
Qualifications
* Active pharmacy license in the state where employed.
* Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
* Immunization certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
* No pending felony charges or convictions for offenses involving controlled substances.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in pharmacy operations or pharmacy leadership.
Education
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
Position Details
Hours: 36 hours per week, Full time.
Pay Range: $60.00 – $71.00 per hour.
