We are looking for Performance Marketing Manager to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
This role will lead our digital advertising campaigns across various platforms, maximising ROI and driving revenue growth. The role will focus on managing PPC, social media, and display advertising efforts, encompassing data analysis, strategy refinement, campaign execution, and optimisation. In partnership with cross-functional teams and our digital marketing agency, the role will orchestrate a comprehensive digital paid media strategy, aimed at generating qualified sales leads and boosting conversions. This role is pivotal in achieving our growth objectives and engaging our target audience effectively.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in digital campaign management, from strategy to execution, and be advanced in A/B and multivariate testing, enhancing organisational change through analysis.
The role will be based in Dorking (hybrid), with a minimum of 3 days in the office per week. The role also allows flexi hours to suit, offering 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm or 10am - 6pm.

The Role
We’ve got a great opportunity to join our brilliant marketing team here at Kuoni on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave for a member of our team. Our Performance Marketing Manager leads our digital advertising campaigns across various platforms, maximising ROI and driving revenue growth. The key focus is on managing PPC, social media, and display advertising efforts, encompassing data analysis, strategy refinement, campaign execution, and optimisation. This role is pivotal in achieving our growth objectives and engaging our target audience effectively.
About you & what you’ll be doing
* Your skillset will be in paid media, but your passion for travel will elevate your success in this role. You’ll have a solid understanding of the customer journey to holiday booking and ensure a presence at each stage to maximise conversion opportunities.
* Day to day, you’ll work alongside our digital agencies—sharing trading updates and commercial priorities, ensuring ROI is maximised across paid channels, and driving consistent volumes of quality leads and bookings.
* You’ll be confident managing a million-pound budget and continually looking for ways to optimise it.
* You’ll be as keen to share your failures as your successes with PMAX. You’ll know your CPLs from your CPMs and be comfortable digging into the data to derive insights and challenge our digital agency, plus present findings to stakeholders.
* You’ll have a good understanding of GA4, able to find what you need quickly, create explorations, or pull data into Looker Studio for wider sharing.
* You’ll understand the fundamentals of Meta, YouTube, and display ad formats and how best to use them. You’ll be capable of translating your vision into creative briefs for our in-house studio team.
* You’ll be experienced in A/B testing, with a track record of applying learnings to improve performance.
* You’ll be responsible for developing a Social Media Executive, working together to deliver a social content strategy that enhances brand awareness and engagement.
* You’ll understand platform-specific content requirements and the wider marketing mix.
* You’ll care about brand guidelines and tone of voice, ensuring all creative complies.
* You’re collaborative, understanding the importance of teamwork, sharing knowledge, and working cross-functionally to meet goals.
* You’re curious and proactive, willing to ask questions, challenge answers, and learn from mistakes. You’re ready to hit the ground running.
Our first 3 months
* This is a maternity cover role, so you’ll need to quickly understand our business.
* We’ll be launching our TOY campaign in December, where paid media is critical. You should be confident managing this from day one.
* The first 6 weeks will involve meeting key stakeholders, understanding our brand and current paid strategy.
* By month 3, you’ll have a comprehensive understanding of our activities and be able to provide insights and strategic recommendations.
Minimum qualifications and experience
* Proven experience in digital campaign management from strategy to execution.
* Ability to turn insights into strategic actions, mapping customer journeys and channels effectively.
* Confident advising on digital and social media best practices, with an eye on emerging trends.
* Advanced in A/B and multivariate testing, with strong analytical skills.
* Proficient in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Excel.
* Experience in campaign monitoring, analysis, and optimisation.
* Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
* Experience managing budgets for ad spend efficiency.
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related fields.
* Certifications from Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, or similar platforms.
* Experience with landing page optimisation and CRO.
* Background in performance marketing within travel or retail sectors, preferably with premium or luxury brands.
* Interest or understanding of sustainable tourism practices.
