The Role We’re now looking for a dedicated Lightning Protection Test Engineer to perform site inspections, system testing, and compliance reporting across a range of commercial, industrial, and heritage sites nationwide. Your role will be fundamental in ensuring the safety and functionality of lightning protection and buried earthing systems. Main duties include conducting thorough inspections and testing of lightning protection systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations and in accordance with individual job specifications alongside following instructions on the method statement and risk assessment. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be required to carry out essential inspections whilst working with safety and integrity at all times. You will be required to work at various sites nationwide, complete detailed onsite reports via electronic means and regularly attend our Nottingham offices. The ability to work away from home when required is essential and will be needed on a regular basis.
