Role Overview
This role supports the Head of Audit (HoA) Technology & Data Analytics by:
1. driving and delivering a portfolio of high-quality risk-based audit services across the organisation with a focus on technology; and
2. assisting in the management of strategic relationships with key GIA stakeholders by ensuring the risks associated with latest business plans are fully considered and by providing independent opinion and assurance on the strength of the control framework and the effectiveness of business risk management.
Role Responsibilities
3. Primary accountability to the audit leads, with responsibility for audit execution within that portfolio. The audit work will cover integrated, application and infrastructure audits.
4. Responsible for the delivery of high-quality audit reporting to time and cost budgets. The GIA function delivers approximately 45-55 audit assignments per year.
5. Travel (approx. 5-10% depending on portfolio) is a requirement of this role, as deemed necessary, to complete audit engagements and to fulfil stakeholder engagement, building deep relationships.
