Job Title: Vehicle Technician Location: Hull Salary: £35,429 per year + 25% pension Overview: A skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician is required to support the repair, servicing, and maintenance of a large fleet of vehicles and plant machinery. The role involves ensuring a high standard of workmanship while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and legislative requirements. Duties and Responsibilities: Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a wide variety of vehicles, including light commercial vehicles, HGVs, and plant equipment. Diagnose faults using mechanical and electrical diagnostic tools. Complete mechanical repairs, component replacements, and vehicle inspections. Perform MOT-related work (if qualified). Maintain accurate maintenance records and service documentation. Support the upkeep of a fleet of approximately 500–600 vehicles and associated equipment. Ensure work is completed to required safety and quality standards. Work collaboratively to ensure the fleet remains operational and available.
