Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the hospitality department, including food preparation, production, and service
- Supervise a team of hospitality staff, providing guidance, training, and support
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to maintain high-quality service
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events and special functions
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and dining area
Requirements:
* The applicant must have a minimum of two years of experience in the hospitality sector
* The ideal candidate will have experience within both restaurant and function environments
* Enjoy working as part of a team with a supportive attitude
* Have the ability to manage and motivate a team of staff effectively
* Have excellent attention to detail
* Have a range of barista and beverage skills- Cocktail training is desirable but will be provided if necessary
* To be a successful part of our team, you should be outgoing, personable, and be able to work in a busy environment
* Cleanliness is an essential
* Must be able to think and perform under pressure
* Must have the ability to motivate, train staff, and ensure standards are met within all areas of the business
* To implement all policies and procedures as devised by management;
* To order, check, and accept deliveries of goods and equipment as necessary
* Control & coordinate staff as and when required
