About Our Client
Our client is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team on a part time permanent basis.They are offering a salary up to £35,000 (full time equivalent) which is dependent on experience of the Part Time Bookkeeper.The successful candidate will be joining a great team and play a vital role in their finance function in Ilkeston within the Retail sector. This is a fully office based position in Ilkeston.
Job Description
Part Time Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities:
3. Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
4. Banking
5. Various reconciliations (bank and credit)
6. Managing cash flow
7. Purchase ledger and sales ledger management
8. Maintaining and updating financial records
9. Perform credit control
10. Assist with year end accounts
11. Managing payroll
12. Adhoc duties that may be required (admin / HR)
The Successful Applicant
The successful Part Time Bookkeeper:
13. Previous experience in a similiar role is essential
14. Local to Ilkeston
15. Wanting up to 25 hours per week
16. Knowledge of accounting software
17. Strong Excel skills
18. Ability to manage workload effectively
19. Excellent communication skills
20. AAT Qualified (not essential)
21. Strong numerical skills
22. Strong accounting experience
