Job Summary
You’ll be joining an award-winning, certified Outstanding team who do all they can to empower children and families to experience as much life as possible. As a member of the Noah’s Ark Nurse and Specialist Care team, you’ll be encouraged to put the experience of children and families at the heart of all you do.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality nursing care for children at the Ark or in the community.
* Support parents and families to take time for themselves and create choice.
* Deliver essential symptom management and comfort care during end‑of‑life.
* Build long‑term relationships with children and families.
* Lead training for team members and family members and deliver effective training.
* Use creativity and play to help children experience the life they want.
Qualifications
* Band 5 (or equivalent) nurse with excellent clinical and communication skills.
* Demonstrated experience leading a multi‑skilled team or proven leadership ability with support from a lead nurse.
* Children’s Nursing qualification and completed nursing preceptorship.
* Core values of kindness, excellence and courage; ability to work autonomously in the community.
* Creativity and play central to your approach to care, with ability to build long‑term relationships.
Compensation & Working Details
Salary: £35,000 to £39,587 a year
Contract: Permanent
