The Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Heavy Vehicle Technician (HGV/PCV) to join our engineering team at our Lincoln Depot. You will play a key role in maintaining our fleet to the highest standards, ensuring safety, compliance, and reliability.
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday – Day Shift
* Participation in an on‑call rota for evenings and weekends
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections on HGV/PCV vehicles
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
* Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure compliance with DVSA standards
* Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records accurately
* Respond to breakdowns and carry out roadside repairs when required
* Work closely with the operations team to minimise vehicle downtime
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as an HGV/PCV technician or similar role
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent)
* Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
* Knowledge of DVSA regulations and compliance standards
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence (HGV/PCV licence desirable but not essential)
* A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
