Who we are looking for
We are seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to provide a secure and safe environment for all staff and visitors on site. This will be achieved through applying thorough access control procedures, carrying out site inductions, planned and ad-hoc site patrols, and other duties as determined by Assignment Instructions. In an emergency, follow prescribed escalation and communication procedures with Site Management, Corps colleagues and the emergency services.
Shifts are on a 3 days, 3 nights, 3 off rotation, averaging 50 hours per week. Shift times: 06:00–18:00 (days) and 18:00–06:00 (nights).

What you will need
* Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
* A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential
* Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels
* Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure
* Excellent IT skills including Microsoft software (e.g., Excel)
* Able to meet vetting to BS7858 standards
Your responsibilities
* Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carry out regular patrols, and record these as required
* Ensure all visitors and contractors are briefed and sign in/out
* Record entry and exit of deliveries and process paperwork in line with site quality procedures
* Carry out patrols to required standards
* Set and unset primary and secondary alarm systems for out-of-hours security if applicable
* Complete documents such as daily occurrence logs, shift handovers, incident/accident records and site-specific reports
* Familiarize yourself with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and other quality/safety documents; advise on changes or improvements
* Maintain training records and ensure up-to-date first aid and fire marshal training in line with guidelines
* Perform ad hoc duties as directed
