Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Team Leader to supervise a team of production operators and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations within our clients production area. As a Production Team Leader you will be responsible for driving performance through SQCDP measures while promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Production Team Lead Key Responsibilities
Lead daily team communication, including SQCDP meetings and operational updates.
Maintain a safe working environment through audits, risk assessments, and incident management.
Ensure product quality by investigating issues, managing customer concerns, and maintaining QA data.
Monitor productivity and delivery performance, implementing improvements where needed.
Manage team performance, attendance, and development while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Production Team Lead Details:
Location: Walsall (WS6)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 PA
Schedule: Mon Thurs 7am till 17:00pm
Production Team Lead Role Requirements
Previous team leader or supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of quality standards and continuous improvement practices (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills .
Prior experience working within an electrical assembly role would be beneficial.
Experience working with ERP systems and operational reporting .
