The Opportunity

We are hiring a skilled Account Manager to work within the UK Transport Sales team. The primary responsibilities include managing customer relationships, driving new sales, increasing customer satisfaction, and achieving financial targets. The role also involves understanding the importance of UK Rail within multi-modal transport solutions and developing client value accordingly.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Build strong relationships with clients to foster trust and reputation.
* Identify new business opportunities and develop business cases with the Account Director.
* Drive revenue growth by nurturing existing accounts and maintaining opportunities in Salesforce.
* Understand and manage the contract between the client and Worldline, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
* Ensure timely invoicing and collection of payments within contractual terms.
* Manage the P&L for the account, focusing on margin and revenue against budgets and plans.
* Develop and maintain an Account Plan, presenting updates biannually.
* Enhance customer satisfaction (CSAT) across global and regional metrics.
* Collaborate with Product Managers to present quarterly client-facing product strategy roadmaps.
Who Are We Looking For
The ideal candidate has experience in the UK Rail or mobility transport sector, working with Train Operating Companies, Network Rail, and Public Transport Authorities. Responsibilities include managing operational and financial performance, proactively managing relationships, and understanding the services provided.
Key skills include sales process expertise, relationship building, negotiation, and a strong understanding of financial, sales, and bid management. The candidate should demonstrate a successful track record in pipeline development, conversion, and deal closure.
Additional qualities include self-motivation, the ability to work on client sites, and strategic thinking about the transport industry and market trends.
