ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Customer Assistant in one of our John Lewis shops, you'll ensure our difference is felt through outstanding customer service and first-class in-store experiences that stand out from our competitors.
Alongside great service, you'll maintain exceptional shop standards through displays, stock availability, and cleanliness. Knowing your customers allows you to provide the best service and build their loyalty with our brand for a lifetime.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and inspirational customer service at every stage of the customer journey.
* Use your product knowledge and sales training to drive sales and increase profits.
* Prioritize the customer, understanding their needs and resolving queries.
* Support the wider team with till support, stock replenishment, price ticketing, and shop-keeping tasks.
* Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
* Support with accurate stock counts to help protect profits.
Essential skills/experience you'll need
* Basic IT literacy.
* Strong communication skills.
Desirable skills/experience you may have
* Experience in a customer-facing role (training provided).
* Merchandising and product display experience.

Hours of Work: Varied part-time hours across seven days, including early starts, late finishes, evenings, and weekends.
