Description of the role
We’re now recruiting a Bartender, to be working as part of our wider team at the flagship club in Canary Wharf. We are looking for a person who’s excited to join our Canary Wharf team and be an integral part of working in a fast-paced, social environment where quality, hospitality, and community come first.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including draught beer and wines
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the bar and mezzanine area
* Deliver friendly, efficient and professional service at all times
* Handle payments and operate the till with accuracy
* Ensure the bar environment reflects Padium’s premium, community focussed atmosphere
Required background personal characteristics
* People oriented, enjoy social interaction and a passion for customer service
* Previous bar/pub, cafe or hospitality experience is essential
* Ability to prioritise and work within a fast-paced environment
* You’re reliable, proactive, and thrive in a team-focused environment
* Attention to detail particularly concerning the standard of the club facilities
* Drive and passion for padel and being a part of building the brand Padium
* Candidates must be at least 18 years or older to apply
Salary
£14/hour
Working hours
This will be a shift-based role between the hours of 5pm-10pm Monday-Friday, 12pm-10pm Saturday and Sunday. We will put together a weekly schedule with regular times from week to week.
Starting date
The candidate is expected to start in May 2025.
