The Consolidation Accountant role is a senior position within the Finance function reporting to the Head of Accounts Consolidation. The role will be responsible for assisting the Consolidation Accounts Manager with all statutory financial reporting and month end group reporting to the parent company whilst also helping to ensure day to day group reporting procedures are robust and efficient.

What you will be doing:
* Assist the Head of Accounts Consolidation in producing month end consolidated accounts ensuring accuracy and meeting group reporting deadlines whilst working closely with the Management Accountant.
* To assist in providing all required group financial information and analysis to the parent company
* To assist in the development of a successful working relationship between the UK group reporting function and the parent company
* To process all intra group accounting entries maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting schedules
* To assist in the review of intra group legal structure & loans etc
* To assist the Head of Accounts Consolidation in their work with the parent company treasury team in the management and monitoring of UK cash meeting parent company requirements for cash reporting and transfer of cash funds between group companies
* Support/liaise with internal and external auditors
* Assist with the preparation of UK statutory accounts for sign off by UK directors and auditors and for submission to Companies House
* Assist with the preparation of carbon reporting requirements.
* Assist with the preparation of ONS report.
* Prepare and monitor utility accruals
* Assist with the preparation of tax analysis.
* Assist with the accounting for Fixed assets.
What are we looking for in our Consolidation Accountant?
* Experienced, part qualified or qualified accountant
* The ability to work to monthly deadlines
* Ability to work independently on own initiative and to handle high levels of pressure and make decisions at pace
* Strong communication skills at all levels and ability to relate to a diverse range of people
* Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
* Energetic, highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success.
