Job Title: Health & Safety Manager
Location: Head office in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire with regular travel to regional offices.
Working Hours: 35 hours per week. Contract: Permanent.
Purpose of the role & how you will contribute
To lead the organisation’s health and safety agenda, ensuring compliance with statutory duties and promoting a culture of safety, wellbeing and proactive risk management across headquarters-based office environments and a regional workforce. Duties include auditing, creating suitable documentation, training staff and ensuring that Health, Safety and Wellbeing policies are followed throughout the country. The postholder will also manage health and safety‑related procurement and budgets.
Responsibilities
* Audit health and safety across headquarters and regional sites.
* Create and maintain health and safety documentation.
* Train staff on required processes and procedures.
* Engage with staff at all levels to promote a safety culture.
* Manage procurement and budgets related to health and safety.
What you’ll bring
* Team player, excellent communicator, passionate about keeping people safe.
* CMIOSH chartered status or working towards it.
* Diploma or equivalent level qualification in Health & Safety; NEBOSH National General Certificate in Health & Safety minimum.
* Several years experience in a similar health and safety role; agricultural knowledge a plus.
