* Prepare and test ruminant blood, tissue, and faecal samples, primarily using ELISA techniques
* Maintain general laboratory housekeeping standards
* Review and interpret quality control data
* Report results accurately using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
* Perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment
* Assist with the selection and procurement of laboratory equipment and consumables
* Support staff training and supervision, and deputise for the Senior
* Laboratory Scientist when required
* Contribute to maintaining UKAS accreditation through participation in internal and external quality assessments
* Promote and comply with health and safety procedures, helping to foster a strong safety culture within the lab
