4. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
5. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
6. Support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights.
7. Manage and supervise the accounting team to ensure effective performance.
8. Conduct regular financial audits and risk assessments.
9. Collaborate with other departments to achieve organisational goals.
10. Maintain and improve financial controls and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controller should have:
11. Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
12. Experience in the industrial or manufacturing industry.
13. Proficiency in financial management and reporting software.
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
15. Ability to lead and inspire a finance team effectively.
16. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
