Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour (rising to £13.27 after successful probation)

JDR Recruitment are currently supporting a valued client in the search for a reliable and professional Van Driver to join their transport team on a temp-to-perm basis.

Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate company delivery vehicles in line with road regulations
* Complete pre-planned delivery routes across various locations within South Wales
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
* Ensure all goods are handled and transported securely
* Provide excellent customer service at delivery points - this is a highly customer-facing role
* Build positive relationships with customers and represent the business professionally
* Work collaboratively with warehouse and transport teams
* Follow company processes and procedures at all times

Person Specification
Essential:
* Full UK Driving Licence
* No penalty points
* Previous experience driving delivery vehicles safely and responsibly
* Ability to carry out basic vehicle inspections
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Friendly, professional, and confident dealing with customers
Desirable:
* Experience working within a fast-paced transport or logistics environment
* Strong teamwork and customer service background
