Job Title: Lead Business Analyst – Supply Chain Transformation Location: Surrey / Hybrid Salary: £75,000k-£85,000k & Bonus & Benefits About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and strategic Lead Business Analyst to join our growing transformation team. In this pivotal role, you will lead business analysis activities across a portfolio of complex change and IT projects within our supply chain operations. You will work closely with stakeholders across business units and technology teams to define requirements, map processes, and ensure the successful delivery of impactful transformation initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our supply chain capabilities, driving improvements in efficiency, visibility, and customer service through digital and operational innovation. Key Responsibilities: Lead business analysis efforts across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with strategic transformation goals. Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process reviews to elicit and document detailed business and technical requirements. Translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications for IT and development teams. Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, developers, and testers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery. Analyse and model current and future state business processes, identifying areas for improvement and supporting change management activities. Act as the primary point of contact between business users and technical teams, ensuring requirements are understood, validated, and delivered effectively. Support benefits realisation and post-implementation reviews to track outcomes against business objectives. Mentor junior BAs and help embed best practices and standards across the analysis function. Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role. Strong background in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing environments. Demonstrated experience leading business analysis on major transformation and IT projects. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience in process mapping, data analysis, and requirement documentation. Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies. Proficiency in BA tools (e.g., Visio, Jira, Confluence or similar). Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., BCS Diploma in Business Analysis, CBAP, PMI-PBA). Experience working with ERP, WMS, TMS, or other supply chain systems.
