We are an AI Native transformation startup. We don't just use AI; we are rebuilding how businesses operate from the core, leveraging intelligence to create smoother, faster, and more adaptable organizations. We are a young, international team of about 15 people, and we are growing.


re:cinq is entering a new phase. We are investing heavily in our marketing and sales engine, and we have realized that there is a missing link in our chain. That missing link is you.


Why We Are Hiring

To understand this job, you need to understand our current struggle.


Right now, our marketing efforts generate interest (MQLs), and we are able to qualify them into potential sales opportunities (SQLs). But this is where we hit a wall. Our sales cycles can be long—often lasting 6 to 12 months.


Currently, once a lead becomes an SQL, we simply don't have the dedicated bandwidth to maintain the high-touch, consistent relationship required to cross the finish line. We see potential deals turn cold simply because we couldn't nurture them actively enough. We are missing the person who wakes up every day thinking about how to add value to those specific leads, how to keep re:cinq top-of-mind, and how to guide them toward a conversation with our founders.


We need a consistent influx of recurring leads, and we need a dedicated guardian for the leads we already have.


The Role: Part Hunter, Part Nurturer

You will be our First Sales Hire, working directly alongside our Marketing Manager and our Marketing Operations Specialist. Your job is to stabilize and accelerate our funnel.


1. The Deep Nurture (Managing the SQLs)

This is the core of the problem you are solving. When a lead is marked as a Sales Qualified Lead (SQL), you take full ownership. Your goal is not to pressure them into a sale tomorrow, but to keep them engaged for as long as it takes, whether that’s three weeks or twelve months.


You will need to be a detective and a strategist. You won't just send generic \"checking in\" emails. You will research who they are, what their company is facing, and what specific content or assets we have built that would solve a problem for them right now. You might need to find a unique angle to restart a conversation, invite them for a virtual coffee, or provide them with a custom insight. You are the custodian of trust; you ensure they never feel forgotten, and eventually, you set them up for a closing call with the founders.


2. The Outbound Engine (Feeding the Funnel)

While you nurture the bottom of the funnel, you also need to feed the top. You will be responsible for outbound campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and potentially phone calls.


However, we play a long game. Your goal with outbound isn't always to get a signed contract immediately. Often, your goal is a micro-conversion, getting them to download a whitepaper, attend a webinar, or engage with an asset. Once they enter our ecosystem, you hand them back to our Marketing Specialist for automated nurturing. You’ll pick them up again when they are warm enough to become an SQL. That said, if we test that you can get calls right away in outbound campaigns, then obviously we would be happy to invest more in that direct approach. We’re flexible, and always open for improvements :)


We want to be clear: You are not expected to close large enterprise deals yourself. You do not need to be a technical expert who understands the code behind our AI, nor do you need to lead high-pressure sales calls. Your goal is to build the relationship, build the trust, and then hand the baton to the Founders to close the deal. You tee it up; we hit it home. (You might close smaller, entry-level deals on your own, but the big transformations are a team effort).


Building From Scratch

Because you are the first person in this seat, there is no playbook waiting for you. We do not have a complex CRM or a standardised sales process in place.


This is a massive opportunity for someone who likes to try new things, and constantly improve. You will have to experiment to find your own way of working. You will help us decide how to track conversation history, how to organize follow-ups, and which tools we should be using. You need to be incredibly organized and work neatly, ensuring that as we scale, the system you built scales with us.

* A \"Connector\" Personality: You naturally build bridges between people. You understand that sales is a result of a relationship, not a transaction.
* High Autonomy: You are fully remote. You need to manage your own energy and schedule. You are adaptable and flexible, ready to pivot as we learn new things about our market.
* Hunger & Ambition: You don't need a university degree to work here. We care about your drive. Are you the type of person who is willing to do the \"dirty work\" of list building and cold calling because you know it leads to success?
* Organizational Rigor: Because we are dealing with long sales cycles, you need to be meticulous. If you forget a follow-up, the deal dies. You need to take pride in an organized workflow.
* Team Spirit: You are a hunter, but you hunt for the pack. You will work constantly with marketing to ensure that the message you deliver in sales matches the brand we are building in marketing.


Experience & Compensation

We are open to various levels of experience. A bit of prior experience in sales or business development is nice, but your character is the deciding factor. If you are hungry to learn in a small, young, high-tech environment, this is the place for you.


You will receive fair compensation based on the market and your specific level of experience.
