About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and versatile Multi-Trades Operative to join our team. The role requires experience across a range of trades including scaffolding, roofing, leak detection, mould treatment, property repairs, and kitchen & bathroom works. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality repair and maintenance services, often within the legal disrepair sector, ensuring homes and buildings are safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives on variety, problem-solving, and taking ownership of jobs from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
* Multi-Trade Works
* Carry out a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks including scaffolding, roofing, carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, and decorating.
* Undertake mould treatments and leak detection with appropriate remedial works.
* Install, repair, and refurbish kitchens and bathrooms to a professional finish.
* Respond to emergency call-outs and urgent repairs where required.
* Legal Disrepair Sector
* Conduct inspections and works in line with legal disrepair claims and requirements.
* Prepare and carry out remedial works ensuring compliance with housing standards.
* Liaise with surveyors, clients, and tenants to ensure works are completed accurately and on time.
* Health, Safety & Compliance
* Work in line with company health & safety policies, risk assessments, and method statements.
* Ensure use of appropriate PPE and safe working practices at all times.
* Identify and report any additional hazards or works required.
* Customer Service & Professionalism
* Communicate clearly and professionally with tenants, clients, and colleagues.
* Ensure properties are left safe, secure, and tidy after works are complete.
* Represent the company positively at all times.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience in multiple trades, ideally including scaffolding, roofing, plumbing, carpentry, plastering, tiling, and decorating.
* Knowledge and experience of working in the legal disrepair sector highly desirable.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
* Good understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full UK driving licence required.

Pay: £30,154.32-£45,000.00 per year
