The role of a Senior FSQA Manager involves working within both settings of the Technical Department, in the office and on the shopfloor, with responsibility for all technical aspects of the site. On a day to day basis you will ensure everything is being recorded as required. You will also drive the development of the distribution centre’s standards and manage multiple areas of internal auditing programmes.
What You Will Be Doing
* Accountability and responsibility for ensuring all project work is completed
* Driving key work through BRCGS, closely working with other departments to drive continual improvement of factory standards, reviewing policies and procedures, and ensuring audit‑ready everyday procedures are in place
* Ensuring OKRs are met within key business deadlines
* Actioning, raising and escalating food safety and quality issues
* Improving or maintaining food safety compliance audit results
* Managing Technical Coordinators, Compliance Executives and Raw Material Technologists on day‑and‑night shifts and supporting TAs when required
Who You Are
* Experience within the food industry is essential, particularly of working within a technical function
* Previous experience working with QMS and completing audits, using corrective action to rectify non‑conformances raised
* Moderate to advanced understanding of Microsoft packages and Google platforms
* HACCP level 3 and Food Safety level 3
* A strong sense of resilience, willingness to learn and progress over time
* Inquisitive, wanting to make a difference, rewarding from coaching and enabling others
