The Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin (STW) Talking service has an opportunity for an Admin Deputy Team Lead to join the service based in Telford.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day support, management of issues and supervision of administrators to support the Admin Team Lead within the STW Talking Therapies Administration team. You will support the Admin Team Lead to provide effective day-to-day supervision ensuring that the administrative needs of the services are achieved to the required standards. You will ensure patients and all contacts to the service are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner and that the experience is positive. You will drive the delivery of efficient and accurate processing in the booking of patient appointments, ensuring all clinics are booked to full capacity. In addition, you will support the team administrators with processes, issues and training needs, which includes training of new members of the team. You will support the Admin Team Lead for the day-to-day supervision of the administration team, including co-ordinating annual and study leave and deputise for the Admin Team Lead as required with any sickness, disciplinary, capability or grievance issues.
Responsibilities
* To support the Team Lead of the Administration team, including the planning and implementation of duty rosters as required. Ensure all duties are covered and staff are fully utilised to ensure effective operation of services. Cover duties of other staff in their absence as directed.
* Ensure that the Department’s Standard Operating Procedures are followed by the Administration team. Manage archiving and retrieval processes in line with Information Governance guidelines.
* Assist the Manager with staff recruitment and selection processes and training of new staff.
* Provide induction and training of new staff, identifying and addressing skills gaps as needed.
* Coach, develop, motivate and review individual team members' performance to meet the standards set by the manager.
