GSL Education are searching for an experienced Computer Science Teacher to join schools in Sheffield (S5, S9), delivering high-quality lessons that develop computational thinking and technical skills. As Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will plan and deliver structured Computer Science lessons, supporting learners in understanding programming, algorithms, and digital systems while encouraging creativity and problem-solving in a positive classroom environment. Key Duties of Computer Science Teacher: Deliver well-planned Computer Science lessons aligned with the curriculum Support pupils in developing coding, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills Encourage independent learning through practical computing activities Maintain strong classroom management and a focused learning environment Assess pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback What we are looking for: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification Experience teaching Computer Science or ICT in a school setting Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) If you are a motivated Computer Science Teacher ready to inspire learners, we welcome your application.
